A LOOK AT THE BASICS
Maybe you've been teaching for 20 years and need a grounding moment. Maybe you're a new teacher and just grappling to survive your first year with a set of diverse students. Whether you are young or old, experienced or inexperienced, I created this website to help you reflect on what it means to "teach the whole child" and help students as they are.

school lunch and a hunchDecember 1st, 2019Our basic necessities are food, water, warmth, and rest according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Before our students can learn they must eat - and preferably eat well. This blog post looks at the relationship between food and the classroom. (I have a hunch that it matters more than we think.)
